It has been a privilege to serve as the Oklahoma President for the past three years. We have accomplished a great deal and I look forward to another year working with each of you. What a great group of ladies! Can you believe it's been one year since our fabulous Regional Conference?
I attended the National Board Meeting in Cincinnati last October and heard nothing but praise for our conference. You make me very proud. And I appreciate all of your work on our different committees and projects this year.
I hope everyone is enjoying our website at www.nscdaok.org. Patty Tague has done a wonderful job and we will be updating the information this summer. Also, please advise Ann Marshall of any changes for the directory and check that we have your email and cell phone numbers.
The National Society is celebrating our 125th Anniversary this year with an emphasis on History's Keepers: The Legacy of the NSCDA and Women of Vision traveling exhibitions. I have the Women of Vision booklets for you.
I plan to attend Biennial again this fall in Washington, D.C. and would love for any of you to come also. As we move ahead I hope we will submit a project or two for consideration of a Lamar Award. Central Town is forming a task force to study fundraising options to support WAIF in Oklahoma City. Please be thinking of new and creative ideas to support patriotic and educational projects in Oklahoma this year,
Thank you all for your commitment to the Dames.
