The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in Oklahoma is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes. The object of this Society shall be to collect and preserve manuscripts, traditions, relics and mementos of historical interest; to commemorate the brilliant achievements of the ancestors, the founders of this great country; and to stimulate each successive generation to bring to the problems of its own day the courage, rectitude and self-denial shown in its ancestors in their genuine love of country and devotion to its best interests.
